As a kid, Josh spent several weeks each winter skiing Vail with his family. At age 13, Josh came to Vail to visit his sister, who was
living in Vail and, after a day of incredible powder skiing with her and her friends, Josh fell in love with the idea of living in a ski town
and decided he would move to Vail after college. 9 years later, Josh moved to Vail in 1991 and taught skiing for 10 years. He quickly
moved up in the ranks to Trainer for the Vail/Beaver Creek Ski School. In addition, Josh has been a world-class competitor in Powder
8 skiing. But, despite his love for teaching, in 1999, Josh decided it was time for something new. He was able to quickly apply the
same customer service skills he had learned to provide his students directly to his clients in the real estate business. In 2006, Josh
joined the illustrious real estate 昀椀rm, Sonnenalp Real Estate, in Vail Village, and, soon afterwards, his career took o昀昀. In 2009, Josh
and his business partner purchased Sonnenalp Real Estate and then, in 2015, the two partners decided to launch the Vail Valley
Franchise of Engel &Völkers. As a License Partner and Managing Broker of Engel &Völkers Vail-Beaver Creek, Josh has seen his and
the company’s success soar. Josh and his family live in Edwards and love to be in the mountains.
